El Perelló & L'Ampolla

St Christopher's Anglican Church has now expanded north into Cataluña.

To begin the work of satisfying the great need for English speaking people in the north of our 'patch',  on the 4th Wednesday of every month, since January 2009, there is a short service of worship at 12:30 p.m. in the main church in L'Ampolla. This service is usually followed by a completely separate, very short Holy Communion for those wishing to stay on. It is anticipated that the services will last for perhaps 45 minutes, after which we usually continue our fellowship in a Menu del Dia, locally in the town.

Rev Paul Needle gave the sermon. The congregation was welcomed by the resident priest. The Readers were selected from the local community.

The choir entertained in their usual excellent style, and were much appreciated by the congregation which filled the pews, leaving only standing room at the back of the church.
